New York pub crawls: Because your regular drinking dens are like following the spin-dry cycle

If you got this far great! Gotham Pub Crawlers is a group of New York City friends that decided to get together on a monthly basis to “tour” the local afternoon->evening bar scene in neighborhoods we love and those we never really hang out in… in our home town of NYC of course.

Our first Crawl was May of 2006 through the West village. Since then we’ve gathered in LES, Murray Hill/Kips Bay, Greenwich, East Village, Brooklyn, Willamsburg, SOHO, UES, UWS, Chelsea, and Gramercey areas for crawls and have meet some John Deuts along the way (we have quite a few brits on the scene so there’s come cockney goin around and it’s contagious).

What is a crawl? Someone on Wikipedia defined it as: “A pub crawl (sometimes called a bar tour or bar-hopping) is the act of visiting and consuming alcoholic beverages at a number of pubs in a single night with a group of friends.” That sounds very nice n all, but this is New York. We’ll take it up a notch and make sure you all have at it full board and take away some memorable NY bar scenes!

You’ll also notice that within the Wikipedia listing of themed pub crawls and famous ones, New York does not have the distinction of being on it.

We are about to change that.

So join us and lets all drink together for fun, charity, to drink, whatever and to enjoy IT while it lasts!!! Cheers!
