Who does AskMen ask for the top clubs in New York?
Men7 is an AskMen.com lifestyle and entertainment network show that highlights the best of what ever in lists of 7 for the attention deficit male. It’s uncertain on how they select these listings (citysearch?, bartender friends, etc), but our feeling that lists of these nature contribute more to the demise of a club’s “coolness” factor than promote it. Once you’ve made a list by a dare-I-say popular? men’s mag, the party is over.
This list of NYC’s top 7 “hotspots” will only further the suck for most of these clubs, however, how Max Fish made this list we don’t know, however, it’s promo may actually pump their business. I think it really exemplifies how terrible the NYC club/party scene is and if the top of the list is “only for celebrities” then obviously these people don’t even live in NYC (or are hoping such a promo will actually get them access). At least they have Katie Cleary providing the over emphasized pitch, I may not have even listened to the whole thing.
