Tapping at home made easier

New York pub crawls: Because your regular drinking dens are like following the spin-dry cycle

Tapping at home made easier

Drinking tapped brew at home has always been appealing, however, you can’t always have 50+ friends over every time you want the fresh brew taste of a keg.

Heineken has just stepped up and made this a little more manageable, introducing the Heineken/Krups BeerTender, available next week. Designed especially for those Heineken draft kegs you’ve seen taking up your fridge or supermarket shelf space. They hold 5 liters or approximately 14 bottles worth—the BeerTender features integrated refrigeration keeping your brew cold for up to 30 days and an LCD readout letting you known when it’s time for a refill, in case the fizzing sound of your last pint isn’t a clue.

$300, available only at Williams-Sonoma
