Wine-ing in the City

New York pub crawls: Because your regular drinking dens are like following the spin-dry cycle

Wine-ing in the City

There are many wine bars in New York so what criteria do you use to pick a better one over the other – wine selection, food, decor, talent, social environment, attentiveness of the staff/bartenders? I think if you’ve lived here you may already know about Ino (west village), In Vino (west village), Uva (upper east side), Vino Vino, Divine Bar (midtown east) and even ‘inoteca (LES). Here are a few others to consider when going out for some vino.

Morrell Wine Bar & Cafe in midtown east has intelligent “wine geeks” to help you with more than 100 wines from around the world. Artisanal is a great business lunch spot in midtown near Grand Central but they also have a great selection of wines to go with their extensive cheese selection. Total Wine Bar is a great option in Park Slope for great costing wines by the glass.
